We are excited about the great things that God is doing in our church. Our church is a wonderful mix of people young and old, single and married from all different walks of life. There is a place for everyone at First United Methodist Church, Watauga. Our church has the wonderful feeling of a family who cares for one another and is always ready to welcome new friends. There are countless ways to be involved in the life of the church: worship, Sunday school, Bible studies, mission, teaching, women's and men’s groups, and many special events. It's easy to find your place in the life of the church.

On any weekend you'll see people dressed casually, coffee flowing, and hear the sound of people meeting and greeting each other. Our members are excited about their faith and their church.  We love the opportunity to share and welcome new persons into this church family. If you live in Watauga, or the surrounding area, we hope you would join us for worship. When you do, we believe you will find worship that is relevant for your life and a community of people who are a lot like you. We hope this will inspire you to return again and again.
